PC Software and operator manual updates.

Your virus protection may prevent you from downloading the files, in this case you should have your IT people do the download and virus check the file.

PLEASE READ FIRST...

How To download the update files...

• CHECK your software version before downloading.
• If you are downloading a full software package, download the package, and install to your pc.
• If you are just updating an exe file, save the new exe file to your pc, and replace the existing exe file.
  (Note - it is good practice to rename the old exe file first so that you have it backed up, eg: OLDsmartfillv9.exe).

Version 9.5 pc software.
Using SD Memory CARD, or modem / cable data downloading.
NOTE - Not for Version 9.4 users (not for memory ibutton downloading).

• 14/06/11 v9.4.21  - Added SmartFill Quick Support, a remote pc support package enabling remote pc access by SmartFill support staff (at your discretion). See the HELP menu in the latest software for details.
• 14-07-10 v9.4.20.   Added ability to download keys and pins from memory key, and export keys and pins lists directly
                                  into version 9.5 PC software. This speeds up and simplifies the upgrade procedure enormously.
                                  This procedure is activated from the TOOLS menu. 
• 27-05-10 v9.4.19.   Added ability for manager to download keys and PINs to csv files on pc (rs232 / modem required).
• 14-12-09 v9.4.18.   Fixed a bug where multiple tanks did not show correctly on screen when remote dipping.
• 06-05-09 v9.4.17.   Fixed a bug with 'create driver list', where it called it a vehicle list. This was a minor bug which had no affect on the operation of the program.
• 16-03-09 v9.4.16.   Removed the automatic creation of TOTALS reports, because they didn't combine data for clients with more than 1 SmartFill. We have now added a feature where you can import fuel issue data files, and create a totals report.
  This allows you to create one fuel totals report, which combines and totalises the data from any number of fuel ISSUE data files. It also reports the highest speedo / hours reading that has been entered for each vehicle.

• 11-03-09 v9.4.15.   Simplified entry of vehicle and driver information, allowing use of the TAB and ENTER keys to step between cells and save data. The TAB key was not able to be used previously.   
• 09-03-09 v9.4.14.   NEW FEATURE Added option in SETTINGS menu to change the default path of where fuel reports are saved. This now enables you to save the reports directly to your server etc. The 'fueldata' dat file is also created in this folder. Its simple to do...
  1- Upgrade to the latest exe file.
  2- Start the SmartFill program.
  3- Click on SETTINGS - SET DATA FOLDER PATH.
  4- Browse to and open, the folder that you want to use, and save it.    
• 18-02-09 v9.4.13.   Added option to download data from an SD card (Smart-Fill option which is under development).
  Download an information sheet on this upgrade, shows you how to import a 'fueldata.dat' file from an SD Card (or from another location on your pc).    
• 15-01-09 v9.4.12.   Added option to do a data download with no popups or warnings, for experienced users.
• 12-12-08 v9.4.10.
      - The ability to add the totals report onto the bottom of the issues report has been removed, as it is rarely used.
      - Removed popups when selecting options prior to download.
      - Repaired Totals error bug. (This only occurred when doing more than 1 download in a session, and only affected the total Litres at the bottom of the TOTALS report).
•  28-08-08 v9.4.9.   A manual fuel entry bug has been repaired, it did not open correctly on some systems.
•  12-08-08 v9.4.9.    The Date format for the filename when saving files, changed to Australian format, not US, now dd-mm-yyy, previous versions were mm-dd-yyyy. This only affects the date format in the filename, the date format in the data files is unchanged (Australian format).
•  25/07/08 v9.4.8.
      - On systems that have dial up modem connection, Vehicle Keys and driver pin numbers can be deleted more easily (1 click).
      - Less windows appear when creating the fuel reports, you can now select your spreadsheet setup options before the download procedure starts. This makes it less confusing when creating spreadsheet reports.
      - Enhanced error reporting.

VERSION 8 UPDATES...

VERSION  8 SOFTWARE UPGRADE--- ADDED 11/05/2009
IF YOU ARE USING A VERSION 8.1 SmartFill, YOU CAN STILL UPGRADE TO THE LATEST VERSION 9 SOFTWARE ON YOUR PC.
1- Click here to download the specially made version 9.4.17, exe file, to suit SmartFill version 8.1 users.
2- Install the complete version 9.4 software package from top of this page.
3- Update the exe file with the one downloaded at step 1.
4- Do a data download, and check that the Litres are reading correctly on your pc. There is a difference in the way Litres are calculated with version 8 systems, and it MUST be checked on your system.
5- If your Litres read incorrectly, then you may be able to use the latest version 9 software, without upgrading the exe file.
Contact the manufacturer if you are not sure.

The following are required in some Vista installations on Smart-Fill version 9.4.5 and earlier.
Save them to your "c:/windows/system32/" folder before trying to run the program.
